Victoria Heard
Bio
Victoria Heard joined the firm in 2023 as a law clerk and became an associate in 2025 after passing the Ohio bar exam. She focuses her practice on dissolution and juvenile custody matters and is dedicated to helping clients navigate some of life’s most challenging transitions with compassion and diligence.
Victoria earned a full-tuition scholarship to Denison University, where she graduated with a degree in Sociology and Communication. She received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Capital University Law School and earned Pro Bono Legal Honors. While at Capital, she externed with the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, served as Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, and competed in the 2024 National Moot Court Competition in Child Welfare and Adoption Law.
In 2023, Victoria was selected as a scholar in the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) Scholars Program, where she gained mentorship and hands-on experience in complex family law matters from firm partner and AAML Fellow Julia L. Leveridge.
