Erica Ann Probst

I joined Kemp, Schaeffer & Rowe Co., LPA in 2002 and became a principal in 2010. I specialize in employment litigation and commercial and business litigation. I have represented employees, employers and commercial entities for more than two decades. I have performed litigation on legal issues including employment law, labor law, contract law, trade secret enforcement, injunctions, temporary restraining orders, construction law, towing regulation and probate litigation. I also do general litigation matters.

I take my role as an advocate for my client seriously. I work for you as if I were working for myself. I have participated in every form of hearing from State Personnel Board of Review, to the Ohio Civil Rights Commission, AAA arbitrations, JAMS arbitrations, Hearings on Temporary Restraining Orders and Injunctions, state and federal bench and jury trials.

In addition to my skills as a litigator, I also review contracts for employees, employers and businesses. I prepare severance agreements, non-competition and non-solicitation agreements, mechanic’s liens, releases and commercial contracts.

In addition to my skills as an advocate, I also perform work as a mediator. My skills as an advocate have given me experience in the world of mediation. As an advocate, I regularly negotiate on behalf of my clients, whether it be in a formal mediation setting or informally with opposing counsel. My experience in mediation spans two decades. I now perform mediations for other attorneys in all forms of civil litigation.

I realize that real winning is done in the trenches, each client had different needs. Whether it is keeping a construction project on schedule by replacing a poor-performing subcontractor, or getting a result for an individual that allows them to hold their head high when faced with a wrongful termination.

I will work tirelessly to obtain a satisfying result for the client. My clients are always on my mind, and I will do everything I can for them.
